- 2026The business becomes Dunbrack’s Outdoor Services, in honour of Roy.
A name with a legacy.
In 2026, Connor renamed the business in honour of his great-grandfather, Roy Dunbrack — Halifax’s Chief Surveyor from 1958 to 1969, who helped support the city’s growth through surveying, mapping and construction. Roy later became president of the surveying firm Servant, Dunbrack, McKenzie and MacDonald (SDMM), and Halifax’s Dunbrack Street was named in his honour.
Roy’s care, precision and professionalism set the standard — earning clients’ trust one property at a time.

“Connor and his crew arrived when they said they would which says a lot in itself these days. They worked the entire day until the job was done with only a thirty minute lunch break. I intend to to call them again in the future for needed yard work and do not hesitate to recommend them to others.”
